The Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Gurdwara is open to everyone, regardless of nationality, religion, age, or gender. We welcome you to experience our prayers, community kitchen, and peaceful atmosphere.
Before You Enter — Remove Your Shoes
As a mark of respect, all visitors are requested to remove their shoes in the designated area near the entrance. Shoe storage is available at the door.
Cover Your Head
All visitors must cover their heads at all times while inside the prayer hall. Headscarves are usually available at the entrance for those who do not have one.
Entering the Prayer Hall
The main hall is where we congregate to listen to Gurbani (hymns). Upon entering, most people bow before the Guru Granth Sahib Ji as an act of respect.
Sit on the Floor
We sit on the carpeted floor to show everyone is equal. For those who find it difficult to sit on the floor due to health reasons, chairs are provided at the back.
Langar — The Free Kitchen
After the service, you are warmly invited to join us for Langar — a nutritious vegetarian meal served in our community hall free of charge.
